Maude Miller Bentall left, holding her eldest son, Charles Edward Bentall, 1885-1955. Charles and his first wife, Marjorie Durell “Peggy” Wickham, had three children: Michael Charles, Rosemary Anne and Elizabeth Lavender. He later married Joan Sadd.

On the right, Maude with her youngest child, Lawrence George Bentall, 1904-1997. He married Isabelle Chapman.

Maude had four other children – Dorothy, who married Eric Walter Poyntz Westmacott, and after his death in World War I, married Wilfred Caybourne Smith; Margery Gertrude, who married John Ernest Grosvenor; Barbara Maude, who married Michael George H. Barker; and Ernest Hammond Bentall who died during World War I in France.
