Gravestone of Lucy Gertrude Miller and James Henry Healy

Lucy Gertrude Miller was born in a log cabin 11 February 1887 in Birtle, Manitoba, Canada, to Charles Edward Miller and Annie Maria Bayley. She was the fourth of eight children. She died in Chula Vista, California, 18 March 1972. James Henry Healy was born 27 June 1868 in Faribault, Minnesota, the second child in the family to be born in America after his parents and four older siblings left Ireland. He died 27 September 1960 in Escondido, California. James and Lucy were married 21 January 1909 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were buried together in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Diego, California.

James and Lucy are the paternal grandparents of the author, Anne Healy Field.
