Anna's obituary appeared in a St. Petersburg newspaper, possibly the St. Petersburg Times, on 15 June 1944. This copy was sent by Dixie Phillips Pernell, a descendant of Anna's brother Zephaniah Jr. This article says that she died yesterday and an article on the day of the funeral said she died on Wednesday. That would put her death on June 14th. She is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in St. Petersburg. Nothing is known about her husband, Rudolph F. Heinkel nor her daughter Belle. The article says that she came with her family to Florida from Martha's Ferry, Ohio. This would have been Martin's Ferry, across the river from Wheeling, West Virginia, and close to Bridgeport, Ohio. In 1880 the family was living in Wheeling. Anna was born in August 1866 according to the pension application filled out by her father in 1898, and she was three in the 1870 census, so she would have been 77 when she died, not 74.
