Marriage Allegation Bond of John Spurstow & Elizabeth Illidge, 1716, Bunbury, Cheshire, England. John Spurstow, merchant, of Chester, 21 October 1716, intent to marry Elizabeth Illidge, of Stapeley, Wiburnbury, spinster. The marriage took place on 4 November 1716 at St. Boniface Church in Bunbury.

John Spurstow was the son of Charles Spurstow of Bunbury, Cheshire. Elizabeth was the daughter of George Illidge, of Stapeley, Cheshire. The couple later moved to Manchester where John was a merchant.
