Rufus and Celestine Brent Manley Family

The Rufus Manley family, late 1920s. L-R: Grant, Rufus Sr., Donald, Celestine, Rufus, Conrad and Brent.

Celestine Brent Manley's signature. This was the closing on a sympathy letter that Celestine wrote to Rear Admiral Harold "Skipper" Fick on the death of his mother. Skipper was the husband of her sister Frances Brent. The letter was postmarked June 25, 1959, Orange, Texas.

Small black leather wallet to hold small photographs. Inscription reads: "Compliments of Gulfport Creosoting Co. of Gulfport, Miss." This would probably have been one of the companies Rufus Manley worked for or managed.
