Will of Josiah Peirce, 1723-1806

Josiah Peirce was the oldest son of Isaac Peirce and Susannah Bemis of Watertown. He later settled in Worcester where he died on 30 Oct 1806. He wrote his will in 1793 before his wife, Sarah Gale died, and before two of his sons, John and Josiah died. They are named in the will but died before 1806. It was not until early 1809 when the will, inventory and distribution of the real estate and household goods were completed. Josiah owned a lot of land and the appraisal and distribution to his surviving sons was complicated.
