Samuel and Mary were the great grandparents of Esther Ashcroft Bayley, wife of Hamlet Bayley, and the author's great great grandmother, paternal side. They are buried in Ashton-on-Mersey, in Cheshire, England. Mary died just a few days after Samuel and is on the page after Samuel in the register. There is no gravestone, just their record of burial.
